We would like to work towards helping our industry create an environment of psychosocial safety, where people can freely speak up without fear of reprisal. These environments not only create more collaborative working environments but they are also the foundation for facilitating healthy challenge which is the driving force behind innovation.

However until this happens we will continue to have the need for people to raise concerns where fraud or illicit activities are occurring.

At RAW Compliance we firmly believe in supporting  our industry colleagues who have the bravery to speak up and we are opposed to any  victimization or bullying of whistleblowers.

SpeakOUT SpeakUP was created by Wendy Addison.  She personally secured justice in an eleven-year battle against corporate corruption in the case known as “South Africa’s Enron”, the biggest corporate disaster in South Africa’s history.

​This, in addition to persevering for eight years to successfully reinvent, replenish and rebuild herself.

The Mission Statement of SpeakOUT SpeakUP is: 

• To create an awareness about whistleblowing To champion the whistleblower
• To encourage people to recognise their moral courage
• To provide the legal framework to report ill doing
• To ignite businesses to consider a whistleblowing process as part of risk management

Whistleblowing International Network (WIN)

The Whistleblowing International Network (WIN) is an international charity based in Scotland.

Their mission is to strengthen the capacity of civil society to protect public interest whistleblowers worldwide, to support the work of civil society in turning legal rights into active protection for whistleblowers and to assist in ensuring that whistleblowing disclosures achieve lasting change in the public interest.

The work of WIN Members and Associates is to defend and protect whistleblowers whose disclosures challenge corruption, waste, fraud, abuse, illegality and threats to the public interest taking place in their countries.
